Fair to middlin' of nowhere

The wave crash over me
tumbling me back to shore
my creases containers of sand
My energy spent
sucked out to a sea
of it’s up to me
Entangled in flotsam
debris anchor me
just below the surface
of sanity
I retreat inside myself
like an anemone

Oh my, Lori, this tells a tale of deep inner turmoil, but with at least some kind of anchor to steady yourself even as you fight to retain your outward composure. One of your best. I'm impressed that your words are so descriptive, although I shouldn't be, I have see you do this before.

Thanks for the complement my friend.  Pretty hectic here and it is getting to me having my world out of wack for so long
