I am a Jack of all busses,
from Los Angeles to Jacksonville,
I look at you people in bus,
Black kids full of cunningly practices,
I am a jack of all buses,
from New York to New Orleans,
I can feel the storms in hearts,
ordinary people breaking glasses,
all stations are the same
but all people are different,
I can hear the voice of Springsteen,

I am a Jack of all busses,
can’t forget America the great,
and the laughter of big wheels
in the fields of my loneliness;
I am a jack of all busses,
see your empty faces full of grace
in every nook of Washington,
let’s cross the nuclear lands,
when there are such radiations,
radiations of hearts or knots,
radiations of hopes or elegies,
I am a jack of all busses,

I am a Jack of all busses,
where are going all these people ?
I don’t know a single one,
so I look at the moon of Ohio,
there is a babe somewhere
to forgive my soul misery,
not in a station of the East,
somewhere down the rainbow
there is a babe full of kisses
waiting that the bus stop forever,

I am a jack of all busses,
and cause you don’t like poems,
I ‘m gonna drive no mystery ever
and get out of this damn bus,
leaving rivers and sour trains,
national parks and souvenirs,
i bear a belt of smiles and jokes,
Today, I am a Jack of all busses
thanks everybody.

Wow, dear Yann, Jack of all busses, what an enthralling poetic offering!

So very rich in expression and feelings, I got carried away, I saw what you saw and felt both joy and melancholy and life's mysteries touching the brain like butterflies that one wants to capture, but they flutter on ...

Just fantastic.

thanks a lot margherita, i appreciate a lot your comment, very supportive and lovely, it authorized me to do some corrections, change five words , i hope it will not break the nature of the poem, that is to give hommage to american people and bruce springsteen whom i was listening a song while writing?

have a nice day
yann

It's a spectacular hommage, dear Yann! I also am a great fan of Springsteen (now listening to "I am on fire" ... ). Sure he inspires! Read your words again, they are perfect the way they are ...

You have a wonderful ability of observing those around you, yann. I yhink that is what makes a good poet.
