you were like cat feet subtle there
with those saliva eyes glancing
as if watching me watch you
was better than other bad things
we could let ourselves slip into

I watched you sipping sighs after
like you did when you were alone
and had to hurry to get beyond
where thirsty and just enough were
stuck there like they were hovering

perhaps it was those velvet evenings
when you took what you needed gently
something of under the sheet communion
just to hold you over a few hours
til the dawn brought you enough whiskey

to stagger your laughter with sigh sounds

You make the kitty paws purr pretty.  Bring the JackD and I'll find us something to drink it out of.

There's probably a law
that says you shouldn't melt folk...
but it would be a foul law
at that.

"I watched you sipping sighs after

Your use of poetic phrasing is always excellent..I am not assuming that this comes easy to you, I believe it takes a lot of thought and time.

But perhaps I am wrong, and these things just bubble up from your soul in easy rises...they seem to do that from this distance, when I read the finished product..

Sweetsun, thank you for breaking the law with me.

Iceamigo, humble thanks guy...I see lots of words on a big scrabble board and pull them off to make a picture...being blindfolded does help.
