Not so long ago
there was
a James and Suzie
and I loved her so.
We were two that seemed
destined to be true,
now I must accept
that as two we are through.

The brightness of the sun
shines on me no more
for I have lost
the woman I adore.
Falling rain saturates
my heart with pain.
It hurts to be
only James.
