Over
Grand Avenue

This thick
White fog

How much like life
After a certain age
It seems to be

There is much
Of what and who
Was I no longer see
At all let alone important
As I’m sure they were

The mist drifts
Across all views
Clearly there is only
Here and now

Somewhere
In the distance
No doubt a little
Sparrow sings

And beyond
The sound
Of the sea

"And beyond
The sound
Of the sea"
