VIRGIN SNOWDROPS

there was once a garden
in ancient times
where snow had fallen
on meadow land
a lady weeping, wanting flowers
was soothed by an angel
from heaven, grand

the angel breathed a magical breath
on flakes of falling snow
and the lady watched
when flakes were planted
and beautiful snowdrops began to grow

innocent,  sweet, and honey scented
they rose above the green
white and pure,
as pure as virgins with pearly heads
bowing to the morning sun, supreme

Legends and myths
make for lovely dream pillows.

Enjoyed, Ron63. Thank you!

And your snowdrop poem is as magical as the angel's breath in the poem.

Simply stated and delicate, just as the context of the poem.  Very lovely..
