childhood is a curio
put on the silence
and seen by all,

its hopes are deep
and illustrate houses,
family dinners,

childhood is a curio
which, if dropping, breaks
an entire life.

especially good!:

"childhood is a curio
  which, if dropping, breaks
  an entire life."

(guess that's what happened to me)

I love your poem and thoughts, Yann.  I agree that the thoughts about breaking everything, should be thought by the people who can break the happiness of others' childhood.  However, for the child him/herself, I believe that, although we shouldn't need to, we can rise above our circumstances and should never use a broken childhood as an excuse for anything at all.  It is all about choices and the (Robert Frost's) road taken.
