Cocktails in the sun

The swirling mists of time
Confuse the colour of your eyes
And in the fountain square
The water dances to your sighs
Red lips your cocktail sips
Beads down your valley you perspire
As shaded from the sun
Your mind considers your desire
And shadows lengthen then
So near but far the music plays
The clock the hours to chime
And were those really better days
An empty chair I see
Please come, sit here, with me

The ending made the poem.
