Hawaiian Ghost Story

I met a woman
in Chinatown
she told me she liked me
she showed me around.

She had an apartment
located on King Street
she lived on the second floor
she took me in and locked the door

We drank
some red wine
we shared some
intimate time.

Next morning
we said goodbye
as I departed
she started to cry

I told her
I'd like to see her again
we touched fingers
and promised to be friends.

Two weeks passed
and I returned to Chinatown
I walked all over town
but she wasn't around.

I went to her apartment
upon the second floor
when I knocked
another woman opened the door.

She said the woman I mentioned
hadn't lived there since 2004
she told me she was sorry
as she closed the door.
