there had always been that marching of nines
those shimmer limbed lovely trees of forbidden
with fruit I would pick with glutton fingerings
then admire my smile when wet from their gluing

and then you were there beside my mind sideways
more eleven than a dime, because of how you fit skin
and that wicked blend of wanting to taste of secrets
until you had your belly full of everything sin sung

we could line up empty bottles along your heavenly
like newly discovered old friends by the hour, ours
more decadent than nonchalant, but just as natural too
how those things free fell from your lips like whispers

though you swallowed a few before you kissed them

There is a fine line that divides a nine from an eleven,
But the "shimmer limbed lovely trees" here in pip
are all dozens...I hope they know that.

Their replies, and poems fall
"from your (their) lips like whispers"

Many of your poems, make love to their ears,
And I am the voyeur in daark shadows..
Watching with intensity, how your poems
Often move  minds to forbidden places,
By the perfect placement of words.

"Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance."
Carl Sandburg

Been a long time since I've read you... you have a way with words... they just sort of hum along... and hit you. Nice to read you again
