each time we kiss
and embrace each other tightly
after we've been separated
for a day, or a fortnight
matters not the duration
I've a strange feeling
I'm mailing a clandestine letter
with an interesting surprise inside
to the one I'm holding

People have a tendency to dismiss the potency of a really good kiss.  That, to me, is more sensual than most things.  I like this a lot, Jerry - it speaks of that.

Indeed it does, Nicole. Kissing is as intimate as what goes on in the lower regions of our bodies. It is communication, a permitting for other things to happen, a tenseness, a cold shoulder saying back off, it ain't going to happen. A kiss is many things, but basically they are just very nice.

A kiss, is the prelude... to the music... in our soul.
Enjoyed your poem Jerry,

Better put two stamps on that letter, Jerry.
Or the recieiver might have to pay extra postage when it arrives.

Good poem, good picture to match.
