Today hurts.
Just when I thought it couldn't get worse.
I get struck in the heart with a curse.
Where is my hearse?
Can I just peacefully slip into oblivion first?
Just keep the wake terse.
No need to let tears stream and burst.
Just disregard this verse.
Today just hurts.

Thank you, Sunshine. Today was a difficult day for me. My son turned 9 today and it's the first time since he was born that I haven't been able to at least talk to him. I've been so emotionally unglued that it's been physically painful.

Some days do hurt... and seem to hurt worse when you've thought it was as bad as it could get and thought you were dealing... only to find out you were wrong. You've captured that scream/moan for all of us who've felt it... I hope today is better!
