cracking knuckles like eggs to scramble
into hands doing those things by reaction
and you were always watching the reruns
because you knew you were in them too
you said as you modeled fishnets with hooks

you said they are just breasts and thighs
but you did put fly paper under your makeup
so they would look slick enough for slippery
but would have that long lasting imprisonment
where doing many years to life would be easy

I told you stories that gave you gooseflesh
you strolled around topless to prove it
and asked me to tell them over again often
until you could get a sun tan some evening
when we played in mirrors with the lights on

sometimes you said love words for no reason
just out of the blue without being heated first
and I gave you fragile little broken things
to wear in your hair like flower shape virgins
slowly dancing for the devils on my shoulders

and my eyes were the only dress code, you required

Some would argue that fishing is not a spectator sport, but I tend to disagree.  I like the playthings and the love words mixed together like this; very very nice...
