Grace

Grace, thank you for it all
your face lit us up like a light
I trace the shining comet's fall
to land somewhere warm tonight
and Grace I see your beauty painting the screen
I'm amazed, simply like nothing we've ever seen
your eyes are keen
in Alfred Hitchcock's camera eye
a rear window into your world of perfect white

Grace, you're aptly named
for every room you breeze through
all our hearts you have tamed
and hypnotized on the shape of you
and Grace I see your beauty splash in Technicolor
I'm amazed, ever since the day that we discovered
your eyes of a lover
life's hues and shades that pass by
the swan that soars high in a blur of white

Grace, you carried a lovely flame
to your very end
but yet the flame still remains
and your iconic image transcends
mere beauty
yeah Grace your grace for all eternity
it goes on and on and on and on...
on and on and on
and on...

Grace, thanks so much for everything
your face lit us up like a brand new dawn
I trace the darkness moon to dreaming
to spill out over all of us, on and on
yeah you go on
you go on
your grace and beauty shone for instant
but afterglows they tend to lead on
into the future after you're gone
it goes on and on and on and on...
on and on and on
and on...

And I know you knew
that the you don't wear the crown
baby the crown wears you.

A good read, and amazing drawing too, keep up the good work!
