In the beginning...

there was
awareness of being.

Knowing I Am,
without knowledge
of what I was.

No other
objects
existed

and an object
cannot perceive
itself

The eye
cannot
perceive
the eye

I was formless

Knowing I Am,
with no knowledge
of what I was.

Within the void,
within the formlessness,
a form appeared.

The first object.

Now, two
things existed

That which
I Am
and that
which I perceived.

With nothing else
in existance,
I said to myself,

"That will be me"

I would later
learn that
this object
is called
"human being"

These are my
first experiences

my first thoughts

my earliest memories

These rememberances
have been with me
all the days of my life

I cannot say
what they mean,

but I have always known

that there was
BEING

prior to
becoming

and a decision was made.

I cannot say
what it means

Nothing has changed

There is still
the knowing that
I Am
without knowing
what I am
