they would say of man's best friend that he would never be a manimal but more the panting kind of hounding taking only yes for an answer always by the gesture of hand or gazed approving you wagged your contradiction to rumors there pawing at my freshly contented sand that covers where I buried my meditation then rolling over on your back rudely and making sure it was never the same again throwing you a bone was inconsequential you chewed through it while in mid flight and always looked back over your shoulder wanting more than I could carry in my hands but you offered to bite the slick skin boys and old men in leather, if I would just bring them __________ daark |
