roses can be read
when the petals fall
and the wind moves them
over ashes asunder

violets are blue mostly
before they wilt
and turn pungent with scent
drawing only flies to applaud

I could say I only miss you
when my eyes blink momentarily
but you cover my mouth then
with a fevered kiss duration

and tell me words are useless
now that our skin has mended
and been combined like hours
in conjoined healing of itches

that makes us everything, unsaid

The valentine that keeps on giving.  That's just one more thing I love about your poetry.  Batteries are not included or needed.  Like that big pink bunny, your poems keep on coming around and sharing wonderful visuals in your word-weaving.

Sometimes we reach into our pockets, and Zu Zu's petals are not there, and words fall meaningless-("words are useless")
spreading out over ashes of one we once were.

But then (by) a "conjoined healing of itches" we are mended, our identities return-an angel gets its wings, a bell tolls by the motion of a "conjoined healing of itches"

And then there is the refactory period in which things need not be explained, left--rightly so, "unsaid"

excellent poetry
