The Wind
Carries me to places, places yet unknown
It sweeps my mind before all time
When only one could groan

The Wind
Has always carressed,  my hands, my hair, my face
I reach to touch it, and then again, it reaches back as friend

The Wind
I speak, into as whispers, it's breezes of secrets tell
Me, time and, time and, time again
It's time to live and live well.

This is overflowing with charm and delightful in its rendering of oneness with the Source.

Yes, you hear the whispers, dear Ebonygirl, and you interprete them beautifully.

To have a relationship with nature, and wind in particular, is a wonder and joy as you have so aptly rendered here, Ms E.

Sometimes soft, sometimes sass
the wind comes to play
touches face and messes hair
still takes your breath away!

I like the playfulness and the romp, especially the freshness!  Lovely poem Ms. E..

I love how you describe this here; it is so poignant and true.  "reaches back as a friend"...awesome image.  It is almost as if it is a part of you throughout.  So nicely done

The wind has been my friend, my dance partner... my enemy (hurricane)... and still I'm drawn to it. *S* And I absolutely love your poem!

Suthern! Thank you for the like!
Yes, I'm with you, always have been drawn to the wind.
You, are a strong woman to have had to contend with Big Katrina. Would like to hear about it over coffee, one day.

This is an interesting concept; having a friendly relationship with the wind. I feel you are spot on with that; the wind getting close, hugging us, scruffling out hair as a tease and so on. You have written a lovely nature poem for me to enjoy! Thank you.

I've always had the notion the wind is a living thing... this only adds to that feeling.  To hear it... to feel it... to *know it's calling you.  I really liked this one Ms. E.
