I see your face
I taste your mouth
your tongue
this is like nothing that's ever happened before
I'm affected in a way unbelievably sensuous
when I think of you
it's as though I'm on fire
and you are the only one can put it out
sometimes I question my sanity
still, tuning you out
or turning you off
is a lot different than changing channels
on the radio or TV
I close my eyes
the vision of your blue eyes come into view
eyes which undress me
make me naked
and not just my body
but inside me too
I feel exposed
to the whole damn world
you, my darling
loving you beyond all reason

At a cocktail party, one woman said to another,
'Aren't you wearing your wedding ring on the wrong finger?'
'Yes, I am. I married the wrong man.'

Now that is vulnerability; but around someone that you love and trust, that vulnerability becomes an exhilarating freedom. I like the effect of the picture with the poem, too Jerry.

Thanks, Lori, I'm definitely in love, but I don't consider it bad, just passionate and . . . well . . . maybe a little bad. Heehee

I totally agree about the vulnerability which causes complete freedom, Nicole. Thank you for you for reading and commenting.

It's so "quivery" beautiful to be unveiled on all levels to the beloved, you express this in an enticing way, dear Jerry.

It is quite right to be "out of one's mind" in love matters, because one tends to melt with each other's mind ... and heart.

You are a wise person, Margherita, for understanding the complexities of love. Thank you for continuing to support me here at PiP.
