.

Let this wash
Of stars
Cover
The evening sky

Let the road
Be silent
As the winter sea

The hour
Has come
For her alone

Presence
Without form
In permanence
Music in an air
Where there is
No sound

You pass
In the night
The hem
Of your dress

Brushing
The edge
Of dreams
