The wind
Is cold and hard
Off Whitefish Bay

Snow falls
And curtains with ice
The empty cabins
Under leafless trees

Tonight
The moon and Venus
Will mutely shine
Shimmering light
On a rolling sea

How long it seems
Since couples looking
For colored pebbles
Wandered in love
Along the shore

How faint
And far away

A light and mellow evening,
lost in the thought.
Enjoyed the read.
