SKYRIDE PILLION
26 January 2012

Riding the skyways you were,
around the places where I was,
sweeping me up behind you
on your stallion
as black as night
though white as snow.

You said you were taking me
to Ever-Ever Land
where time stands still
and music plays
and gardens burst into colour
and you and I can make music
of every kind
in every way
on every day
and you did
and we do.

Wow, this line:

(Riding the skyways you were,
around the places where I was,
sweeping me up behind you) -

sure sparked some memories of my wife and I before we met.  We kinda walked in each other's shoes (between New Orleans and So. Calif.) until we finally met in Dallas, TX ...and "the rest" as they say, "is History!"

enjoyed your write my friend, and as Bob Hope said ... "Thanks for the memories"...

Smiling happily that this brought you precious memories of long ago, Jimmy.  Thanks for telling me.
