COUNTRYSIDE PATH
25 January 2012

My hand ensconced in yours
your eyes lost in mine
and colours are more alive
the sun more passionate
the moon gentler
our smiles softer
and our path so mesmerisingly inviting
as our dawn-ecstasy beckons
and leads our footprints in concert
through the glorious day
into the delicious privacy
of our sweet-on-the-tongue
melting-dusk.

mmmm.  I feel like I am walking on a path that few have walked on.  Love this, Diana.

Smiles, Alison.  I think quite a few have walked on a similar path, but not in the same way, nor with the same results - which is probably what you are saying anyway, lol.  More smiles.

Smiles, Jerry.  If you are talking about the last part, I hope you liked the thick, heavy, cream lining of the closed curtains (drapes?).  More smiles.

This is the second poem of yours I have read, and you have a wonderful way with words full of imaginative imagery. I particularly loved the last two lines.

If I could offer points, I would give this a full five out of five.
