I only wanted to be heard
so I went looking
for someone to hear
that's where I found you

beautiful destiny or
good luck charm
haven't figured that out yet
we're playing for time

but there you were
where I'd never looked before
waving at me sans wave
me just trying to be heard

was it the devil
in that angel's kiss
the day we finally met
connected and smiled

you with your dark
me with some light after
decades of my own dark
clicked and the race was on

remains to be seen
what karma has in store
whatever it may be
I'm in it til the end

Ah, Baby Girl, you do know how to make a guy smile with hope, and I thank you for that.

Sometimes someone looks in the caverns to find peace, and instead they find diamonds.  Isn't that a beautiful discovery?  You wear love well, Jerry.

You are not getting senile (your poem OLD)you are just crazy in love and I'll bet it is taking years off you and you look better than ever.

Don't know about the senile part, Lori, but I am definitely crazy in love. Look better? Eh, don't know. I feel younger even as I grow older. Thank you for your kind remarks.

All is said above, what can I add...
Except maybe...
Your heart is showing and
it looks good in what you found, Jerry.
