Unemployed, fired, for 8 weeks now,
he piddles around the house,
watching football and American Idol
while I become homicidal
he is quiet as a mouse.

So we never went to Cali for Christmas
and that just chaps my rear,
see, I've been wondering about jail
and if it's better than here.

I listen to my angry songs,
like Limp Bizkit and Eminem,
then there's my slow sad songs
but I really can't handle them.

All he seems to want to do
is watch TV, eat, and nap,
after all this time, I get it...
why some people simply snap.

I've been there, with DH out of work....rattling around the house....I understand. Just remember, the only constant is the truth that things never stay the same....change will come...hang in there!

Best,

I'd be driving myself up the wall if that was the way I had to live, especially in my younger days. People have begun to get the mindset that the government will take care of them, and they just give into it. Don't know if this is the case there or not, but if it is, shame, shame.

Ouch!  This one has some serious bite to it.  Can't say I blame you...   Just curious, when you say "about to break," you're talking about his bones, aren't you?  I knew it!  Lol  good to see you, Dixie.

You know what, my long-time friend?

I think it's time for you to again read, and to re-post here "Three Feet Above".  If you don't have a copy, I do and would be happy to give it back to you, as read-worn as it is.

Hang in there, Dixie - that's what it's all about.

awe, thanks everyone so many things I want to say after reading each reply but maybe another time when I can see the screen through clear eyes

Jimmy, I remember that one, and I have it around somewhere. Maybe I'll repost it tomorrow when it seems a better day. Thanks for reminding

I was here once a long time ago, but fear kept me from speading my wings and taking flight...fear of not knowing capable, freedome and happiness...we become so accustomed to being treated like this, we think "that's the way it's supposed to be"  and it is not...

blessing and prayers sent your way...

Lee J.
