This poem is about saying goodbye to your old life.. cutting away the "Cancer" so to speak n starting all over again.. without your family.. without your friends.. just you.. an open road, a packed up car a few tissue box's and a whole lot of broken memories..
2011 -- Everything Changes..

I've got friends i never see
A dad that barely remembers me
Got a life i wish i didn't live
A Few people i'll never forgive
I've got a heart that people love to break
They just give me more than i can take
Today i'll finally walk away
I've got no reason left to stay

OW! This is painful.

I'm an old grandpa kinda fella but just let me give you a hug to let you know some things are still alright and there's people out there that really do care.

Hope you're walking away into a new positive experience.

That hit close to the bone. I was that dad who . . . Well, just let me say I made some awful mistakes. I loved this. It hurt, but I loved it.
