Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I felt a lifetime
in your love
last night
You wrapped
your heart around me
and held me tight
until I could
breathe again
And I believed
you could
and would
be able to
love me
through
my tomorrows
like they were
yesterday

A lot was said in this well-written, well-conceived poem, Lori. I hate to being up one particular part of it, because thee whole poem was perfect in my opinion. But when you wrote the last five lines they jumped off the page . . . er . . . screen.

To mimic is a form of praise unless
you have no thoughts of your own

Hi Lori
Have to agree with Jerry.
You're very clever in your inneundo and the last part is filled with those implications of love's flat tire needing some repair.

Really enjoy this concise work a lot!
