~
Groping puddles
knees down in barley
merely stains your Levis

The rainbow's ore lies deep in the coldest stream
where dreams in abundance
litter the shoreline
as aspiration surrenders to intimidation

The empty hand
seldom soaks past the elbow

Wade deeper
awaken your reverie

where dreams in abundance
litter the shoreline
as aspiration surrenders to intimidation

It is when we past the wadding part and began to tread that life is ours to have.

Nice work.

To mimic is a form of praise unless
you have no thoughts of your own

Very captivating poem! Reverie will restore transparency of the mud puddles. Dreams are never wasted I think, they just wait for the right moment to manifest.

I remember my first grounded rainbows...
