EVANESCENCE
December 1998

The light sparkled on the glass in your hand.
For a moment, I turned away,
and,
like the light,
you were gone,
but for an instant,
you and the sparkle were there,
…I think.

Owl

Oh, it was. Don't let the memory fade and misguide you. The sparkle was there, my friend. I like your writing style.

To mimic is a form of praise unless
you have no thoughts of your own

The sparkle says so much, it is something to hold near and dear for all of our days.

It's so nice to read you here again, Owl~

Had to be there because the existence of dreams are created within the sparkle.

Without the sparkle it would be a dull world.
love the idea of this and the way you put it together.

Thank you, Amaryllis, I am glad.  Me, too (the wondering – well then, anyway.  Smiles)!

Thanks, JerryPat.  You made me smile (happily and nostalgically) – I choose to be convinced by you! Smiles.  Thank you for liking my style.

Thank you, Rex.  What you said was a beautiful poetic thought.

Thank you BluesSerenade.  You are right.  I am glad to have stolen some moments to be back too.

Thanks, Eric for your kind words.  Not all sparkles work out and I think I see too many of them, but yes, they make the world special.  Dreams - past, present and future - are good to retreat into sometimes, as long as one holds on to reality with at least 2 fingers!

Thank you Lee for your heart-warming words.  You had me smiling too.

Thank you Bruce.  I am glad you enjoyed it.
