What makes it all worthwhile
the ability to change it all
to hold the world in your palm
and to twist just at the right moment

To make them see what you want
and just for a minute
to make them believe
that is the power

The ability to shape
to remould into something not true
But so close to true,
So close it's indistinguishable.

This is waht real power is
What those with fame and money
Alone those things are shadows
Physical things in an immaterial world

Spread a little shadow in the light
a flash in the corner of an eye
So they come to you and say
Fool me once please fool me again.

To take a lot of pain,
take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud,
holds a lot of rain

Yep. Brings to mind the Jerry Springer Show. How else can you understand the attraction that that slime?

My old Daddy used to say, "throw enough crap up against the wall and some of it's bound to stick!"
The sleight of hand of the magician is well expressed here.

Good write!
