during the first day of ground snow

I have been hit by snow balls
from my nephews for
revenge of my surprise
attack. Sliding and gliding
thru icy patches of mix
snow tears and frosted
winds. Children three doors down
comes to greet us. Yet
I greet them with a fluff ball
of snow.
We all scatter attacking
our enemies
and comrades
which becomes a complete
mayhem. they head off
to another street
as my brother in law
videotaped
his son's and I.
We having evil smiles
ambush him in baseball
sized snowballs
laughing, wheezing in
cold winds and sweet icy
snowflakes. I sit on the porch
while the rest head
to the backyard. I uncover
my hood and look
toward the sky
As snow kept falling
like the suns
blinding light.

I loved this. Snow makes children out of the oldest kid. Yes, indeed.

Hey Ken those snowball fights are just so much fun.
Everyone gets laughing and screaming. It's a blast.

Loved this being Canadian.
