Dropping down abruptly from the sky
Banging into the solid dirt
Tears of blood draining through my eyes
But I cannot feel, I am numb

Opening my eyes; I can see
Through the ignorance and the hostility
I raise from under where I have fallen
Oh, the excellence of your defeat

Took you down and won the battle but lost the war.

Very good, I like the vengence line at the end.

Intriguing phrase. Enjoyed.

I know someone I want to read this. Right now she is down for the count, but the battle isn't over. Nice work.

`Oh the excellence of your defeat` was a splendid way to end this piece.
