Oh, the weather outside is frightful.
I think God is getting spiteful.
There's a volcano in my nose
And it blows! And it blows! And it blows!

Winter weather is such baloney
I am freezing my cajones.
Is there nowhere that I can go?
I don't know! I don't know! I don't know!

When I finally go outside
Cause a man's gotta work, don't you know?
I feel certain my toes have died
And are buried somewhere in the snow!

There is nothing that's so displeasing
As a body that is freezing.
I ain't no bloody eskimo..
I hate snow! I hate snow! I hate snow!!!

I'll bet our friends up north are packing some special snowballs just for you...so watch out...they could be flying at you soon!

Aw, I complain also, but not nearly as humorous as you have done here. I take the season as I have taken life, when it comes I deal with it. Of course down here in the deep south at six o'clock in the morning, still dark, walking my mutt with twenty-eight degrees with a stiff north wind I HATE it!!!

Great song . . .

He he Michael I can hear this being sung with great gusto up here in the ice country.
The time had come to revamp that song anyway.
I give you credit for rhyming baloney and cajones......A jewel of a line if you know what I mean......The images are perfect...

Have fun!

Eric

This band's won two grammys for instrumentals. You don't know how that makes me feel as the lead singer!

Sunshine...if it gets any colder here, I'll have snowballs of my own!

Earl...thank you. That was the intent

Jerry...I know what you mean. Waking up to 20's is almost impossible for South Florida....but here it is!

Eric....Iknow  exactlywhat you mean! Leave it to a Canadian to pick that out

ROTFLMAO! Classic my friend... classic. The pics were perfect.  That first stanza reminded me very much of my eldest daughter who is currently suffering a head cold. As for snow? None to report here in So Cal. In fact, it was a very nice 78 degrees today. Hope the holidays are treating you well. Peace!

I wish it would snow where I am, but alas its 95 degrees outside.....perhaps its cause I live on a tropical island? Enjoyed.

You'd be surprised by the pain I can imagine inflicting and receiving.

Ha, our temperatures are actually dropping! It's been in the low 80's these last several days. People are walking around in shorts and t-shirts. Santa better bring his swim trunks and flip-flops when he comes this way.

heheh!  Merry Christmas!  We didn't even need a fire here yesterday, and I thought of you when I read it was about 28 degrees in Florida.  You don't dare get misty in that kind of weather.  Ice would form...  Sorta makes me wonder who spiked Mother Nature's punch...

Can't stop laughing.

I love snow, I love snow, I love snow,
don't you know of the pleasures in the snow?

If you play just right your feet won't freeze
and all the ice will melt with ease!

This was just hilarious.

It's getting very cold also here, even the cat didn't want to go outside this morning!

Love and warmth.

I've only experienced snow twice in South Africa and on both occasions everyone forgot their problems and interacted ... Hmm? ... yes, joyfully!   Not sure I'd like snow for days on end though.  Did like your poem!  Thanks for the smile.

Well the weather must have heard you sing, because it started snowing again just now.
It was literally pouring rain the whole day and now it's snowing and freezing. Very slippery for these old legs of mine.

Like scattered leaves...my words will flow

Ha ha good fun. My bird bath had a disc of ice two days in a row and most of the plants are laying flat on the ground with tears in their veins.  Today was a lot warmer.

No wonder this loads so slow (let it snow...). The cold snaps came a tad early down here this year's season, huh. They are saying a little warmer for Christmas, yet after that who knows?

It is snowing in Rome!! My fingers are icecold after filming it ....

I do love it, but I hope it will not be too heavy, I fear for the pine trees.

I luv the rewrite to the song, it was funny indeed. Yet I enjoy the snow since I was brought home with snow up close to my mothers hips. Thought it will freeze my toes indeed but let it snow, oh let it snow. Happy holidays to you with alot of warmth

Well I love snow, and playing in it when I can play that is.  This has been sent to some people it will sure make smile, as it did me.

I have several neighbours that booked with British Airways to meet family in Europe for Christmas, and you don't to hear them talk about snow right now.  Their holiday has been canceled, and most of their relatives got there before the snow storms hit.   Merry Christmas Michael.

I'm feeling the same way about rain. It has been raining non-stop for days. Where is Noah when you need him.

Nice poem. I enjoyed it. Excessive snow when hampers the normal life like UK then it's beauty turns into curse. " I hate snow" will definitely come from the core of the heart. Thanks for sharing a beautiful poem. Merry Christmas to you all the Administrators and colleagues.
