whodunit novel
I still don't know who did it:
bookworms ate killer!

(** I've always wanted to write something about these intrusive, pesty, creatures indigenous to Florida--it seems. I attend lots of estate sales and I can't tell you how many times I've countered old books that I buy and when carried home--finding all these holes drilled by bookworms--they must be quite strong because on some books , they eat their way right thru the front hard cover to the last colophon page.)

Jerry: You're half-right! And I'm LOSING IT!!!! ONE of the 3 "Thrift Store Find" WAS posted by me a few days ago--oh, the first signs of....

Ha! Funny stuff! Ya, consumed by book worms... could you imagine that as a form of administering the death penalty for murderers?

Balladeer: Yes, they will alleviate..but they will raise your rates --if you continue to get those traffic tickets speeding along I-95 in the wrong lane. Hehe! Nice rejoiner!

You have spoiled the ending to any old whodoneit novel that I may pick up. If there are holes the worms got to him before the police did. Who knew poetic justice could be such fun?
