Fair to middlin' of nowhere

I watch you sleeping
Early in the morning
Your gentle rhythmic snore
Beckons me closer
To the length
Of your warmth
My lips lightly
Upon your shoulder
My hands resisting
Caressing you awake
Before the coffee
Is ready

Oh Lori, this is so tender! I love it... those magic, cozy, snuggly moments in the morning... the height of intimacy, really. Bravo!

Beautiful photo.

Oh boy, did you ever visualize in this poem, Lori. Yes, indeed, before coffee is ready. Yep. Whew.

This is a sweet way to wake up in the morning.  A very nice poem.

Hello Lori:  Wow..when I snore, the lady moves quickly to other side of the bed--or if really bad--she'll spring out of bed and pour HERSELF a cup of coffee!

Ha! Glad your man's snore is gentle & rhythmic!

nice read!

What happens after the coffee is ready? Enjoyed.

My wife just hits me when I snore. Enjoy that coffee... hot or cold.
