Im on the run tonight Let me find a place to take you Every second i get Makes me feel like i'm flying away With you i never had Worries about some day you will break away When your in my arms I didnt want to let you go I didnt want to let you get away Last night was just a lonely silence I knew you wanted out I want to hear you breath I want to see the look in your eyes When you see me struggling to fight This lost war has nothing in sight Can you look at me? Can i say anything right? Look me in the eye and tell me im not what you were looking for This road is in a dirty hood Let me clean the sidewalks when im beat Get your shoes on and lets get out and ride to a place with no reserve I want to dream out my own road Let me shut the door so we can get started on our road trip Ill be here for the long haul Let me show you your what i went for I want to show the world i did everything right Im on the run tonight |
