.

Now here
You have passed
Into history

Snow falls
Through evening air
Lit by a row
Of old street lamps

Casting a blanket
On another year
Pulling a cover
Over its head

The blanket has been very nicely spread by your visual descriptions. Impressive.

Huan Yi:
nice imagery from all stanzas...second stanza:

"Snow falls [drifts?]
Through evening air
Lit by a row
Of old street lamps"

reminiscent of Simic's "return to a place lit by a glass of milk"

very evocative..resonates...

Lovely words and wonderful imagery. I espcially love this:

Casting a blanket
On another year
Pulling a cover
Over its head
