I still ride down by there sometimes
on a sunday afternoon before sun down
and take the elevator up to the 21st
where our white sand beach is still gravel

I make some clouds for our sky after
with a cohiba or fuente from cuba
and can almost hear your laughter too
as you would try to make smoke rings

that would fit your fingers tightly
so they would never slip off again
and you could be the girl in woman skin
not the woman in a penthouse prison

that was our eden when he was in rio

I know whereof you are coming from here, daark. The webs we weave for excitement and pleasure sometimes are our undoing. Speaking from experience heah. Nice work.

Smoke rings and laughter make for a very vivid memory ... high up close to the sky.

Enjoyed this view, dear Poet.

Love,

If the `Cabinet of Dr. Caligari` were put into poetic form, this would be how it would appear - as a crazy topsy turfy maze of words where up is down and down is up.  I got the impression that someone was blowing smoke rings in the clouds.  But maybe I was just imagining it.
