Fair to middlin' of nowhere

First footprints
in freshly fallen snow
penetrate the pristine
with trudging trenches.
Animal tracks
upon the crusted powder
decorate the winter scene
with dainty prints in a row.

Err...I'm going to disagree, Lori. I think it is more a "man abiding by nature"...

At least, that's where it took me!

nice poetic alliteration and sentiment--whether human or animal it matters little--we are all one family!

A delightful poem, just after my own heart.

Prasad Nataraj-winter images are fasinating to me too...every winter. Except shoveling snow, sliding off the road etc. Lori

Yep, I know this.  You speak to me - even though the snow is noisy squeeky where I live (first typed "love" ~ that too!).
