I licked her
around her eyebrows
took off the spaghetti-strap gown
it puddled around her feet
thought I heard her say
you'll regret every night of your life
except this one

I looked past her voluptuousness
to the wallpaper on the wall
its patterns looked like DNA chains
the yellow flowers
reminded me of body fluids
we stood
in hormone-laced wet silence

she gave me a stray-dog feeling
made me want to
do something crazy
I kissed her mouth
smiled, she always does
yes, she's dangerous
the air smelled of anxiety

a lizard slithered in my stomach
I forgot
is it mind over body
like a monk
or is it body over mind
I forget
she looked to be holding madness at bay

she smiled with dead eyes
I now know
her game
she wants my love
for she is frigid
my heart
for she has none

my turn to smile
when you gain emotional power
someone must lose theirs
her smile turned into a frown I thought
her non-heart like flint
can strike a spark
but not enough to burn

I am modern woman
I have taken from you the hunters will
I am warrior-feme to your metro-man
I have your manhood
I have your pride
I have destroyed what made you, you MAN

I held her and took a step
I took two
I sensed a hint of fear
as if she'd blown garlic in my face
the room was small
as a death-row cell
a croaky sob came from my anticipation

its all in the mind
that's all it is
project yourself in the right way
Dale Carnegie taught me that
many moons ago
(little Indian lingo there, hope not to offend)
here I go

I touched her
she squeaked
I laid her down
she whistled a sound
I prepared her for the time of her life
she smiled
all the air left her
last time I'll buy a love doll from the internet

Well, good job...you left me grinning and almost losing that last sip of coffee.

JerryPat - Now this caught me a little off guard but that's just the way I like it. Good job JerryP. This was different, enjoyable and a funny cybernet warning for the unsuspecting. LOL Namyh

Jerry - Yes, definitely a bit of fun and taken as such but this -

"she wants my love
for she is frigid
my heart
for she has none"

I think applies to many real live people as sad as it is.

Thanks again for another much needed smile...

I've not had much experience with such devices though--do they fly around the room when you let the air out of 'em?

Now, how in the world would I know that, curious on the Westbank? I remember when I first heard about those things. I couldn't believe it -- actually I still can't believe it -- that anyone would buy something like that. I remember a lounge in Lake Charles, LA that had one sitting behind the bar. They called her Plastic Nookie.

Wasn't expecting that ending. An interesting twist. You had me thinking Delilah pretty much all the way through.
