The Labored
The swells of the ocean encircle our boat,
Confused and uneasy, wondering why we’re afloat,
Toss and turned, soaked with frustration,
With a ghastly crew, what is this damnation?
Tortured, faceless, slaves, laboring for nothing,
Mindless, without question, ignoring everything,
The ship is forsaken, I had no choice,
I bellowed for the others but the wind stole my voice,
I abandoned ship as it sank like a stone,
I paddled away utterly alone.

Mundane Pain
Drifting along without a purpose,
Frightened of the abyss hidden below the surface,
A foreboding skyline haunts my view,
Dullness, exhaustion, nothing but blue,
I try to count the clouds in the sky,
As if they were sheep leaping on by,
But when I only count ten clouds in one day,
My mind aching boredom is here to stay.

Winds Of Destiny
Starvation and dehydration,
Void of all normal sensation,
I can’t believe what I see,
A island, hope, am I free?
I paddled and paddled, used all my might,
The wind like the reaper has come to fight,
Blowing and hissing the song of the dead,
Resisting, ignoring, I stair straight ahead,
The prize is near, welcoming as ever,
Triumphant, I have overcome this endeavor,
My hope became real, I stepped onto dry land,
To realize I found a empty, barren strand.

Eroded Love
A song is carried threw the waves by the wind,
Sharing a depressive, addictive fate I’m destined,
The Sirens have sung, reminding me of the past,
I can’t be free, even in a ocean so vast,
Years before this, you riped out my heart,
Dead at sea, let the waves tear me apart.

I battled each storm, the rain and the shame,
Until each storm was the same,
And I fought threw the waves, the big and the small,
Until each wave made me hate them all.

But what has made things worse,
Is, I see this love as a curse,
This monsoon of pain, drove me insane,
I’ll drown in these waters, love as my bane.

Divine Plunge
Suffered for weeks on this horrid boat,
But have spent a lifetime aimlessly afloat,
As I wonder why, I see a face in the clouds,
The face of God in a mystical shroud,
I’m staring up as the rain begins to fall,
The face began to weep as the waves began to crawl,
“If you are Him save me from death!”,
The wind grew stronger as I held my breath,
From calm, to sadness, to raging resentment,
This is the end, my final judgment,
My boat is flipped, ripped into pieces,
I’m pulled under water, all hopes ceases,
Twisted and turned, please just end it now,
A twist in fate that He wont allow,
“I hate you and all you’ve done.”,
Whispers echo, “It’s okay, you are forgive my son.”

Vanquished Wreck
All my faults and regrets fill my mind,
Pulling me down, deeper, where the sun can not shine,
Pressure builds, coldness fills, my every being,
Lost in meaning, I was caught shamelessly fleeing,
Now I’m stuck in the deepest darkest trench,
Screaming out pathetic pleas, with my fists still clenched,
I’ve lost it all, everything, including me,
Looking back, it’s only fate at this relentless sea.

Hah! What goes around comes around seems to be the gist of this pretty darn good poem. You could take this and make it into a saga I have a feeling.

. . . and the Raven said, %!~#&(&#!$!
