              November moonlight (#2)

Listen oh so carefully
for the gentle-dry rustle
of ancient spirits passing
through this deep forest serenity
of frost-crisp leaves and mountain
   moonlight
that fills all spaces between our hearts.
Here, on this star-swept November eve,
(as at the end of each life’s labyrinth)
only the finest dreams and memories
   of love remain.

I love the permanence in the beautiful chill that is November!  It's almost like you embroider
your words with great care,  no matter how frayed they are around the edges.

Always a fan, dreampoet~

"(as at the end of each life’s labyrinth) / only the finest dreams and memories / of love remain."

As it should be. Great writing.

Always a fine read, we sure have to listen to nature carefully to understand it better. Fine writing, Bruce.

Always a pleasure to read your words. I often wonder what will remain with us at the end.  I'm hoping you're right.
