did you hear that
no, what
a tinkling sound like . . .
like those old fashioned music boxes
you remember them don't you
well, I don't like to date myself, but . . .
music soothes the savage beast
they say
I like my music . . . uh . . . rambunctious
well, even rambunctious music can please
maybe, but you said it soothes
if you want to get picky I guess I did
let us go somewhere else then
what do you know about the great unknown
talking about the stars we see at night
the expansive milky way
and
that big guy up there
the dipper
there's a pleasing feel about the universe
don’t you think
can't say I bother thinking about it all that much
but you must wonder
I, uh, well . . .
you must wonder where it all came from
everybody, I mean everybody
wonders about that
mumble,mumble,mumble
I mean there are so many theories
since man began recording his thoughts
concerning the mystery of where
it all began don't you think
not really, I mean
religion counts wouldn't you say
humn, I--
but there are so many
don't look now
but there's a religion for everyone
there's one for everyone
a religion to fit everybody
what's the one that has
the big fat person sitting with his . . .
you know, just sitting there
what's its name
religion really isn't my, you know, thing
I remember now
Buddha, yes, that's the one
inner peace
that is his claim
learning to live amongst the rubble
untouched by it
tranquility within yourself
isn't that good
like I said I--
then, of course
there are extreme religions
you know
Islam, its existence is ruled by the sword
or so it seems
and there are those who fall in between
religion for everyone
who aren't religious
not being religious
is a religion in its own right
don't you think
well, in my opinion—
sssh, listen
you hear that
no I don't, what—
it’s a tinkle, tinkle sound
makes you want to go to the bathroom
doesn't it
uh, no not really, I don't—
I must go now
I always enjoy our back and forth
always do
will you be here tomorrow
I am always here, I am you

Sometimes hating religion is, like I said, as bad at what you hate, and sometimes worse. Thanks, Prasad.
