Beneath calloused tips of flesh
strands of phosphorus copper bend
and to their touch a soft massage
all her pleasures lend

Daring, dancing frets of dreams
as if no boundaries lay between
my hand runs down her supple neck
she sweetly sings

Doesn't sound like the blues you're playing, but it is sweet at any rate.

My brother Robert loved his Dobro...
it sits in a corner of my room now...
needing such strokes of love.

This one definitly sings. Mighty fine, mighty fine in deed.

Being a guitar player myself I can relate and I have to say this is a great expression of guitar love!

Fine writing, Robert. Always envied people playing their guitars, so well.

A beautiful treatment of the guitar in the musicality of a fine poem. I am a guitarist, and this resonates with me as I prepare to pick up my instrument, and play, perhaps, a strain of the "Sound of Music"!

Great work --
