I wouldn't pay attention to those windows now if it weren't for the perfume you dangled there at their sils as if they were bosom valley views and at some magical moment you would be there looking back through the nothing in particular as if your eyes could hear the sound of metal when my kickstand would knock on a curb side waiting for your smile to open hunting season and then you would hide your prey behind a prayer somewhere I wouldn't find it with wicked luck but more by kneeling at some worshiping well until you just shouted out loud where it was and made sure I stayed there for another lifetime ___________ daark (highway series) |
