One wonders as the time draws near
To make our voices heard
The difference our one vote makes
Or is it all absurd?

There will be many millions out
To vote for those of choice.
What difference to this chorus makes
One solitary voice?

We vote because we have the right.
We vote because we’re free.
We vote because men died to let
Us choose our destiny.

A single straw’s fragility
Has strength that can’t be seen
But many straws can form a broom
To sweep our country clean.

When illness makes our country weak
We have the antidote.
Our future lies within our hands
When we get out and vote.

Got'cher back!

It has to make a difference...
but not if we are uninterested in
our own apathy!

Shake all that off...get out and do it!

Well said sir... it is our right and our duty to vote. One paid for dearly throughout our history by the men and women who have served our country.

I ALWAYS vote! It's the only thing that allows me to have a clear conscience when I'm complainin' about why it didn't go my way.

A solid piece here... liked the message and format. Keep that flag flying.

I hope everyone down there will vote and let their voice be heard for what they believe in.  Well said, and I think you should have been a politician.

Thank you, folks....and Sir Andrew has it right. He who doesn't vote has no right to complain.

… And more than that.  BHO, if the House can bring charges and the Senate will convict, he must be removed.  Why “compromise.”  He, himself has set the table and has declared that he wants combat with those who oppose him.  And since there is to be combat, let us settle for nothing but victory and insist on nothing less than unconditional surrender.
Twice in one century the United States, and indeed the world, rose up to preserve humanity and defeat those genocidal tyrants who would have destroyed it.  Now we must destroy a Marxist maniac who’s faith calls for the absolute destruction of the human spirit and its eternal longing to breathe free.  Joe?  He is one of us.  We can work with Biden, he will work with us, especially if he is not given a choice
If this post appalls and horrifies, then that is good.
If admins move to delete it, I won’t argue.

I vote if only to preserve my right to complain. *G* And since I live in a state that encourages early voting, my ballot has been cast! *S*

Wonderful call to the voting booths, Deer One!
