and rip it apart
everything that I am
eradicate my soul
and leave me here

bleeding

attainted

too naive for revenge
I'm left hopeless
against this antagonist.

the enemy
that lies within.

the old cliche that we are our own worst enemy seems tired, but it is true...and you have captured well how it feels to struggle against or feel helpless to struggle against that which is inside of us...
