She was just a girl,
Running through the woods
Gardens to follow and her heart was dancing
Like a gentle fall between the weather of it all
Her eyes were partly mine, partly the winds,
She was terribly beautiful but her pains scarred her
Until the wind cut her skin so dry, I could see the grimace between her eyes.

I loved her but didnÕt understand her,
CouldnÕt watch the pain of her brittle hands
Tear another strand of hair from her delicate head,
For this I was lost, for this I was sorry,
For this I began to apologize to the ceiling of my room at night before I went to bed.

I wanted her to run to another place
Where her thoughts didnÕt become her mistrust,
The grass has a way of forgiving your thoughts
Has a way of hiding your fears and bleeding your tears

But, where we grew up, there were no fields,
There were no forests to run through,
So a quiet little room heard a girls tears all throughout her teenage years.

Terrific, dear Tomer.

This reminds me of Forrest Gump's
girlfriend, Jennie. It was sad,
descriptive, absolute in the
complexity of relationships that we
might only know through our eyes.

Well done, Tomer.

well done Tomer... as sunshine said relationships are complex, and you've captured some of that here, through your eyes and words...
