Listening to every heart

Now

              Abandoned,

A voice whispered,

All you have left is a poem

…and she choked

On what lay unborn.

Strangely enough, my friend, this was penned some years ago and just recently resurfaced. Eerie little things like this just continue to happen, but for some reason, I'm not really surprised, as this is timely, and apparently wasn't to have been shared so many years ago.

Thank you for your wonderful eyes.

synchronisity? unto all things there is a season...?

Things written at some moment in time are often best appreciated later, sometimes with more meaning than we thought when written. Perhaps it is the universal experiences that survive as rlevent in writing, with moments and the passing crisis of the moment, less easily understood by those who were not there or do not understand the context.

in any event ma'am, you've penned in my opinion something that speaks to the poets and even hacks like me.... letting us know in very concise terms how loss and anguish can feel...
well done m'friend

Very fine!

Life like friends lives are non-linear
           ahead then back
            down then up
          side to other side

I, for one, must always keep in mind
          right here right now
             is all we have

This is very poignant and memorable.

It can be said that life ia a poem that transcends our (relatively) weak terrestrial-form imagination.

Or, if this is interpreted as a plea to one's muse while under duress, what a lovely way to resume writing from the heart!
