Shadowland He calls to only me so quietly so soft come and I ache with aches indescribable, the pain so freshly wrought. He cries out to me, beseeching, so quietly, come to me In shadows he stands, I reach and fail to reach and shed silent tears, weeping only he hears come to me, my love and would I do anything give anything lose everything to once again go to him come to me Yes I would, I would sacrifice all to once again lay in his arms hear his heart beat touch warm skin come O, my love… ~*~ 2000; 2004 |

Loved this one...one of the best of yours I've read...last line though rang sort of "flat"...didn't fit the 'flow', although the premise did...maybe something like come O, my love . . . come to me ...anyway, we all "hear" differently...loved this for sure...as usual.... jimmy |
